My husband and I had an amazing dinner! Our server Nicole was friendly and took amazing care of us! The food was so good! We had the fried calamari, which was fried to perfection! And the clam chowder is a yummy soup! The fried haddock was SO good. The baked haddock with mixed veggies was cooked perfectly! And the key lime pie is definitely a delicious dessert! We will be back and will ask for Nicole!!

We received a gift certificate to eat here and it was not wasted. We enjoyed the food and the service. To start with the had the Burschetta and it was quite good. We had the Godfather Style Seafood and the Sesame Crusted yellowfin Tuna. Both we very good and the serving size was generous. The garlic mashed potatoes was a good choice as my side. We had a glass of wine each with the meal. The pecan pie alamode was quite good. I have never had a piece of pecan pie with that many pecans. Enjoyed it very much. Our server checked on us frequently but was not intrusive. We will definitely be back as we are locals here in Ft. Myers and always looking for a good place when the seasonals are gone. It was a busy place and little noisy but I guess that is to be expected.

University Grill is such a warm, homey place to eat. The menu is excellent. My husband and I ate there for our anniversary. I had the Godfather Pasta which was amazing. This is almost a two-person dish! My husband had the filet, and it was cooked perfectly. We were given a slice of key lime pie as an anniversary treat! Sorry, forgot to take pictures.

Food was great!! Service great. Price for what you get is great. I will easily have 2 meals for my rib dinner. I had the mixed veggies and they were perfect as well. Still crunchy. Highly recomend.

I've been here several times before a show. This is the first time a server/bartender was pleasant! Even the hostess was rude. It's so bizarre to me that it's a "show night" and they are "too busy!" However tonight my server was amazing! Finally! If you ever go to the University Grill I highly recommend Hillary! You will not be disappointed! Tell her Anna sent you! Cheers my friends!

Showed up around 7pm on a Thursday without a reservation, as was seated right away. Everything about this place was how all restaurants used to be- the service was great and everyone was friendly, you got bread with the meal, they box up your leftovers for you, and the main reason- the food- it was delicious! Would definitely return and recommend.

Was very pleasantly surprised by this place. The 20.00 early birds are amazing. The seared Ahi Tuna was outstanding, so were the crab bisque and escargot. Have been back 3 times. Scott was our server and was excellent.

We were fortunate to have a party of 10 and thus were in the back room. Our server Hillary was wonderful - took care of everything and guided us to good choices when two of us were considering sharing appetizers. The tuna and firecracker shrimp appetizers were fantastic, as was the Beet salad. Fabulous! Others got the baked hake, prime rib, seafood pasta and were very happy. Will definitely return. Thank you Hillary!
